Giving
Giving at The Well is understood as an expression of care, not a measure of faithfulness or belonging.
Like any church, our ministry requires financial resources. Spaces need to be prepared, gatherings sustained, leaders supported, and care made possible. We name this plainly because honesty is one of our values. As a church focused on people rather than programs, financial giving is directed primarily toward:
the spaces and resources that support our gatherings and groups
the care and support of pastors and leaders entrusted with shepherding
the ordinary costs of sustaining shared life over time
When you give, you are not funding a production or a program. Your generosity enables the church to remain attentive, present, and responsive to people's needs.
Give Online
Online giving will be available here in the future through a built-in giving module. When it is ready, we will communicate clearly and simply. Until then, if you desire to give, we invite you to contact us directly for guidance.
A Word on Giving Expectations
No one is expected to give in order to gather, belong, or receive care. We also do not hold to a required or fixed percentage for giving, such as the traditionally taught ten percent tithe. Scripture speaks of generosity shaped by grace, willingness, and wisdom rather than obligation. Giving is invited as part of stewardship discerned prayerfully and practiced freely according to season, capacity, and calling.
