Mental Health Resources
The good news of Jesus brings healing and health not only to our souls, but also to the whole of life. God is reconciling all things to Himself, and as His church we get to share in that work.
A key part of our humanity is the mind—how we think, feel, and relate to God and others. The mind is part of God’s creation, and He desires to bring it under His care and healing. As the body of Christ, we can listen with compassion, speak truth in love, and walk with one another toward wholeness.
We also recognize that God has given mental health professionals wisdom and skill. While spiritual leaders shepherd the soul, counselors are trained to care for the mind. For this reason, we regularly work with two Mental Health Partners, trusting God to use both the church and skilled counselors to bring about health and restoration.
In this way, we affirm that no single member or leader in the church has all the answers. We carry the work of ministry together, relying on the unique gifts and callings God has placed among His people.
